My Career Journey

Hey, I’m Rai, an experienced Executive Virtual Assistant and Sales Representative, primarily supporting service-based businesses such as Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) providers, house cleaning companies, tanning salons, and more. Over the years, I’ve handled a wide range of responsibilities, including backend admin support, customer service, outbound sales, and lead generation.I began my corporate career with Concentrix as an E-commerce Customer Service and Sales Representative, where I supported one of the largest pool supply companies in the United States. My role involved helping customers place orders both online and over the phone, upselling relevant pool products, and ensuring a smooth and helpful shopping experience.Later, I was transferred laterally to another client, which happened to be the world’s number one action camera brand (protected under an NDA). In this position, I served as a Technical Support and Sales Representative, assisting customers with troubleshooting camera and mobile app issues, optimizing settings for different use cases, offering product recommendations, and selling warranty coverage.Within just a year at Concentrix, I was promoted to Subject Matter Expert, where I supported frontline agents, team leaders, and the training department. I was also trusted to assist bilingual representatives and foreign agents by providing fast, clear, and fluent English instructions during live calls. My ability to communicate effectively in English helped streamline support across language barriers and ensured smoother operations in real-time scenarios.Shortly after, I was promoted again to Lead. In this role, I assisted team supervisors by approving courtesy items and camera replacements, managing payment collections, and ensuring service quality. Eventually, I advanced to the position of Team Lead, where I was responsible for coaching a team of agents, maintaining schedule and timecard accuracy, and partnering with the training department to deliver sessions for newly launched products. After Concentrix, I was hired by Asurion as a Tech Coach and Sales Representative. It was an intensive sales role positioned as tech support. I provided support to premium customers of one of the largest telecommunications companies in the US, helping them troubleshoot escalated device issues. At the same time, I was expected to generate sales within the same interaction, offering home device protection plans, 5G home internet, fiber optic internet packages, phone upgrades, and even new service lines. This was a high-performing sales role where I consistently hit our KPIs and other metrics.I eventually transitioned into freelancing. Since then, I’ve worked with various US-based clients across different industries, including NEMT, cleaning services, tanning salons, and more. I’ve supported small teams and business owners by handling customer calls, scheduling, backend systems, lead generation, and outbound sales. Most recently, I worked full-time as an Approval Specialist for a high-volume public adjusting firm based in Illinois, where I reviewed complex claim documentation, verified eligibility, and negotiated directly with insurance companies to secure fair outcomes for our clients. It’s a performance-driven role that requires precision, initiative, and sound judgment, and I’ve consistently delivered.I am open to full-time, part-time, or project-based roles where I can bring the same level of reliability, adaptability, and value to new teams.
